Hawley House Butterfly Cottage was constructed from a Southern Living Cottage plan.  This little gem is nestled on the hillside overlooking the Rees-Hawley House and the historic village, where guests are afforded complete privacy, making this a favorite spot for honeymoons and romantic get-a-ways. The Cottage is totally self-contained and is available for stays of one night to short-term. The two porches offer guests an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee or Happy Hour in the afternoon. Our guests can relax by sipping a glass of lemonade while viewing Jonesborough from rocking chairs on our their private porch, or leisurely strolling through the historic district on bricked sidewalks.

The Hawley House Butterfly Cottage has the distinction of being located on lot number one of the original town plan. The main house, c.1790 is the oldest building in Tennessee's oldest town. Enjoy all that the culturally rich town of Jonesbourgh has to offer, then return at the end of the day to your romantic cottage to rest.
